What about the Marijuana and I Swear This is my Last Post on Herbal Medicine

      Pot, weed, ganga, Mary Jane, cannabis, broccoli, joint, and dope are all names for the marijuana. First of all I want to start off by saying that marijuana is not a drug, it's an herb man. Recently, "Texas passed a certain milestone as it became the 30th state in the U.S. to administer legal medical marijuana after doctors in central Texas prescribed CBD oil to a 6 year-old girl with epilepsy (Dymoke 1)." This is very important for Texas and medicinal marijuana as it shows that more states are becoming open to the idea. However, the girl who received the prescription only contained less than 1% of THC. However, there can be many problems in the medicinal marijuana industry. Due to the regulation right now people cannot be getting medicinal marijuana even if they need it. In conclusion, the herbal medicine industry is littered with lies that could possibly roll into the medicinal marijuana industry.

Herbal Medicine

     Today I was snooping around the Internet, and found an interesting article on herbal medicine. I can't believe people still believe in herbal medicine anyways, its not like garlic can help cure my hypercholesterolemia and protect me from vampires. As I read through the text, I came to realize that ancient herbal medicine has "strong cultural and historic roots dating to 5,000 BCE” (Ronzio 1). I continued to look up information on herbal medicine and found an article titled, "Curiosity or Cure?: Chinese Medicine and American Orientalism in Progressive Era California and Oregon." Thinking it was a Buzz Feed quiz on what herb I was, I clicked. Turns out it was a twenty-seven page article on how Western Medicine kicked Chinese Medicine and other traditional medicines out by making laws prohibiting people to practice medicine without a license, which most of the Chinese herbalist did not have.
